Always check back with the terms and conditions of your travel insurance provider when doing something potentially dangerous like mountain biking. Most importantly, make sure that your insurance also covers helicopter rescues. The prices for private and group lessons only include the guide, not, however, the rental bike or the lift ticket. Please check out Bikeworld Bründl for rentals and Kitzsteinhorn Bergbahnen for the lift ticket; provided that you want to use the lift facilities during your guiding adventure.
We do offer guiding for larger groups upon request. We also organize biking camps for the purpose of team building together with professionals in the field and would be more than happy to welcome your team or school class to explore the trails with us.
For private guiding there are no minimum requirements, as this is where we can cater to your individual needs and requests. For the group lessons we have some requirements: The minimum age to join our Kids Monday Lessons is 8 y/o. Which skill level is required will usually be communicated in the individual course offering.
Usually, the season starts after easter and lasts till mid Oktober. Group lessons from our special offers section are being held only during the main holiday season (beginning of July - first week of September). As we do not have an official office space, we do not have opening hours as such. However, that means we are more flexible in answering your requests depending on the urgency. Usually we call back in between guidings or answer emails after guiding hours.
When booking lessons in Kaprun, you can get your lift ticket at the Maiskogelbahn in the Kaprun Center. Should you have questions which ticket to get for your lesson, please don't hesitate to call or text. We are happy to be of help.
We do not offer bike rental service directly through our school; however, the Bikeworld Bründ is right around the corner and as a specialist in the world of biking, will get you your perfect bike. Just check out their website and book early enough in advance.
